Shading (also known as ombre or powder brows) is a semi-permanent makeup technique to fill in the brows using an electric pen with small needles that insert pigment into the upper layers of the skin creating pixelated dots. Ombre Powder brows have a soft misty subtle look towards the front then blend and go darker towards the tails.

There is a lot of anxiety that can come from the first stroke or poke.

I have a different reaction with each guest. Everyone's pain tolerance is different.

You generally only feel the first 5-10 min of your outline strokes or powdering and then you get numbing. 

I have never had a guest that wasn't able to get through it.

For some its uncomfortable and for others they fall asleep right on the table.

Generally the appointment takes 3-4 hours.

Your six week touch up will take about 1-2 hours

• Pregnant and/or breast feeding
• History of Keloids or Hypertrophic scarring
• Diabetes (This will require doctor’s clearance)
• Chemotherapy (This will require doctor’s clearance) Must be off Chemo or Radiation for 6 months
• If you have Rosacea
• Are on blood thinning medications or antibiotics
• Are currently using Accutane or have used Accutane within the past year
• Viral infections and/or diseases (HIV, Herpes)
• Skin irritations near the treated area (psoriasis, rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)
• Any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the clients immunity.

Microshading is a technique that combines both microblading and shading to create a desired look of both filled in and textured.
